About Us

World Blockchain Centre is a non-profit organisation committed to bringing about blockchain technological advancement through education, promotion and empowerment of underprivileged communities across the globe. 

In collaboration with local governments and NGOs, we aim to bring impactful change, reduce poverty, and empower youth by developing talents in blockchain technologies, web 3.0, cryptography, metaverse, and digital assets.

In December 2021, WBC Impact Fund was created under the umbrella of SDG Impact Fund to support the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).  The fund follows the requirements of the Donor-Advised Fund (DAF) under Section 501 (c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code, USA.

To establish the world's largest blockchain community that is laser-focused on giving back to underprivileged youth through education and tech talent development.

Our Mission

To empower youth in developing nations by creating awareness and educating them about blockchain technology to contribute to their overall socio-economic development.

Goals

In line with the United Nations DAF (Development Assistance Framework), we aim to leverage the combined expertise of our multi-national WBC team and their connections across the Blockchain and FinTech industry to create a global network of blockchain centres to achieve the following goals:

Focus & Impact:

To bring well-deserved attention to underprivileged regions by showcasing their tech talents and transforming them into transformative technological hubs. We will attract corporates with a similar vision to such areas and globally export local talent.

Education for underprivileged youth:

 To provide tech education, coding mentorship and training to underprivileged youth, especially orphans, disabled youth, autistic children, and women. We will bring together top hackers and coders as mentors and provide them with an opportunity to create an impact.

The World Blockchain Centre will be divided into 2 operating units:

WBC for Arts:

By establishing a global network of blockchain-powered platforms, WBC Arts empowers up-and-coming artists, musicians and celebrities to better engage with their audience and maximise the value of their works. Our goal is to enable artists to protect their IPs while gaining the recognition they deserve.

WBC for Sports:

Through our global network of Blockchain and NFT platforms, WBC Sports aims to create a one-stop-shop for the sports industry that empowers niche athletes to develop their personal brands, enabling them to build additional income streams and increase fan engagement.

Our Founders

World Blockchain Centre is an initiative forested by Rico Pang who is an avid tech investors and believers in the power of tech as a way to develop talent, reduce inequalities, and subsequently help reduce poverty.
